I am looking into buying a 2000 model Royal TC.

My question:
Since these trailers aren’t manufactured anymore how hard is it to maintain and repair?
I have neither the skills nor tools to do any repairs myself, so would be reliant on a general mechanic in case it needs new brakes, shocks etc. I also don’t want to run into having to order parts from Germany and having to wait weeks or months and not be able to use trailer in the meantime.

I just don’t want to buy a money pit. Or should I go with an american manufactured trailer?

Any advice/ help is appreciated!

Location: riverside ca		Having spoken with a couple of people who have had to repair these trailers, I personally would pass on them.  they have very different construciton methods when compared to most horse trailers and typically uses not redily available parts.  They were great trailers but even the newest ones are verging on 20 years old.  That said it depends on how you want to use it, and what you found.
