Colt trailer were made many years ago in Georgia. To my memory, that Co has been gone for at least 10 years. Back in that time, it is very possible that it didn't have a traditional VIN like you'd expect, but more of just a serial number. Several smaller trailer builders worked that way. If you can't find anything anywhere, you'll want to get back with your Clerk/DMV and find the procedure for how Ga handles such. I have seen trailers from Ga that were registered and plated, but have no title. Again- your Clerk/DMV will be your best friend or worst enemy here.

Thanks I was afraid of that. Was colt the manufacturer name or a model name do you remember? Could not even find a serial number anywhere thinking maybe the it was a sticker type but still searching.
