| My husband and I are considering a 2017 Hoosier Desperado. I love its features over the new Lakota Colt and Charger that we have also been looking at. However, I have never heard of this brand and my research is bringing up only negatives regarding it's closure. I am most concerned with its quality and I am not finding any information from others about that. The warranty does not transfer with any used trailer we have looked at, so that's not really a concern for me. Has anyone had any experience with the quality of this brand? I appreciate anyone's feedback!

| Well, the Hoosier Co. as you mentioned is no longer with us. Their trailers were pretty nice, especially for a steel frame trailer. As you mention any warranty will come from a purchase of a third party warranty Co. Just my opinion, but they seemed pretty expensive compared to other brands at the time. But solid trailers, if everything else suits you.
As to the Lakotas, both of them have aluminum frames. The Colt will have a wood horse area floor. As pre-owned trailers, neither will have a factory warranty. But you can purchase one just like for the Hoosier. | |
