I just bought a 2004 sundowner, 8 ft living quarters, 3 horse. It's in great shape, especially the horse area but the sleeper sofa pulls out like a futon and it's so short. I'm 5'2' and cant stretch out on it If I could remove the arm rests on each side I'd be able to fit but they are fixed.... how did they even get away with such a poor design?!?
So question one, how do you go about replacing a sofa sleeper in a horse trailer. I don't really want to just throw a random futon or something in there, plus it has to be short enough to fit in the area provided (see pic) Is there a place to find other options for purchase to replace it?
Also, I want to get a hay rack and an awning at some point. Any advice on the best route for that? Anyone had those added or replaced and could give me a price range and best brands?
