| What is your opinion on the 4' high tie systems I see on trailers, for overnight camping. (like when you are just going to be someplace for overnight and don't have space to set up a pen, they give more room than tied to the side of the trailer) |

Location: North Carolina | I once tied a horse to the trailer overnight. I didn't sleep a wink. Every time the horse bumped the trailer or hit the end of the lead rope. I would wake.
Hopefully, the spring in the hi-tie would absorb the movement. |

Location: Northern Utah | I've had them on several trailers and they work great. I do sleep better if my horses are highlined or tied someplace other than the trailer. But lots of places I ride have no trees, Hence no place to tie.
The HiTies are much better than tying to a ring on the side of the trailer. Most space for the horse and they hit the end of the lead less often. Also the HiTie has some flex so you won't feel the tugging of the horse as much as being tied directly to a ring. |

Location: Columbia, KY | I ride endurance and use my hi tie quite often. If installed and used correctly it's very safe. Of course horses being horses they can get hurt on anything. Mine have never had any issues on the hi tie. I use a neck collar rather than a halter, and have quick release snaps on 2 ends. |

| I forgot I even posted this. I made my own Hi Tie, love it. I also use collar for high line or tie. |
