| first post here, I am looking at a trailer that has what looks like manger doors, but they just open into the horse area. the trailer is a 1995 featherlite 4 horse slant with a small changing room in the front, the trailer is 7' wide. does any one have any experience with this style trailer? what did you use the doors for? I have thought about building a manger/storage system to utilize the doors.

Location: Wi | I had a featherlite trailer that had those doors but it had a full living quarters. We used them to give water to the horse on long roadtrips. Just be careful that they don't try to "escape", might only be enough room to get part way out and it could get ugly real quick. | |
