| looking to buy a new/used horse camper, like to find a stock combo, in your humble opinion which brand out there is the best for the money (sturdy, durable, etc..)I have been looking into Merhow,and Lakotas,any suggestions ?? Thanks

   Location: Pataskala, Ohio | I like my Lakota very well.
Look at the trailers get the one you like best. Sit in it with A/C or heat on see if it is comfortable. Check the lighting at night, how much fresh water, blackout blinds and on and on. See if it fits you price point.
Lakota fixed something that they did not mess up at no charge. They want their owners to be happy. My next trailer will be a Lakota. | |

| We just bought a 2009 lakota and love it. We bought it primarily because we have several friends who have lakotas and speak very highly of them. A close friend literally lives in hers during the chuckwagon season and has never had an issue with it.
We did look at a Merhow as well and were impressed with the craftsmanship. The lakota was just a more comfortable pricepoint for us and had a slide. | |
