| Hello... I'm new here. I'm in the process of selling my 1990 4 Star 4horse slant with 14' LQ's. I also have a 2002 steel Featherlite stock trailer that we converted to a 4 horse slant. 4 Star needs to leave as it's just too big even though I love it!! Featherlite needs to go as I no longer want to do all the repairs a steel trailer requires when they get older.
Here's my pickle... I love 4 Stars, Featherlite and Jamco. I've heard horror stories of Sundowners manufactured between 1998 and 2008 so will steer clear of those. But what about all the others out there, i.e., Hart, Exiss, Merhow, Bison, Sooner??? Just so many options I'm not sure which way to turn. I'd like to find a 2+1 that is 7'6" tall with a dressing/tack room. Would also like the front box to be large enough to convert to two standing stalls if needed. I may end up buying new as used 2+1's are few and far between.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm in Canada so some trailer brands are not as readily available here as they are in the good old US of A!! :) |

Location: South Central OK | Search this site and you'll find 2+1 trailers here in all the brands you listed for reasonable prices both new and used. 4Star makes a runabout model that is a little easier on the wallet. Go to all the makers websites and you'll find out that they make the trailer you are looking for, even if the dealer hasn't ever sold one in that exact configuration. I almost got a 2+1 but then Elite made me exactlly what I wanted so I can now haul the horses, cattle and even the show cattle in one beautiful rig! |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | We have a 4STAR 2+1 quiet ride for a couple years now with approx. 20K miles. Still running the original GY Marathon tires. Before the 4STAR we had a 2+1 Shadow for about a year, won't be going that route again.... Set of Marathon tires wouldn't last 6000 miles. "THEY", said everything was running true but it would wear the inside of left front and inside right rear really bad. Trailer looked like it was trying to sag a little in the middle, squeak, rattle, too noisey... We sold it on a consignment type deal. The Shadow was just a little akward to me, but then I may be a little akward to others....!!!!!

| I am located in Idaho but have an all aluminum 2015 Adam Pro Classic 2+1 listed on this site for sale. Has about 5k miles on it and we absolutely love the trailer, but we lost 2 this past year and don't have a need for the size anymore. |
