Subject: replacement awning arms or best place to purchase new awning (gulp)




My recently purchased 2004 Elite trailer had a bent arm on the awning and upon further inspection, fabric is also damaged. It's a Dometic awning (14') and my local trailer repair shop says replacement parts are no longer available and I need a complete new awning assembly $$$. Any suggestions are appreciated for possible parts or a new awning. Repair shop quoted $1500 for new. I'm in Colorado.

Location: Penrose, Colorado		google rv awning and it brings up a lot of dealers who can replace fabric or the whole thing.
