| I'm a newbie to it and am making routes for Hocking Hills State Forest riding out of Three Reasons and loving it.
How does it work on the trail? Is it accurate? Pro's and cons to using an app on phone vs an actual GPS unit...
Also if you ride in the Midwest, KY, OH, IN, IL, TN we could share routes...

| I got rid of my Delorme GPS and switched to ViewRanger. VR is great , especially if you purchase their unlimited, lifetime download maps. I think the cost is less than $20.00. (As with anything, one has to learn what all you can do with it.) The GPS signal is more a function of the phone than the app. I found that I get great signal with my S5 using VR than I ever got with the Delorme. I tried a lot of GPS trail apps and VR is by far the best.
