| How many of you have had to get lifts on your LQ's? |

| It is pretty common in various places. Both to give more clearance for the tanks, and to ride level on newer trucks. Especially older trailers, that seemed to have lower necks. |

Location: Washington | We ordered a Lakota with 0 degree axles. I don't know what that amounted to in increased height but clearance to tanks is excellent. The flipside of the coin is that the trailer is inconveniently tall for my wife when reaching up from the ground. The Lakota already had good clearance but we looked at another manufacturer with the tank drains hanging out from below that look like they were begging to get knocked off.

Location: Mena, AR | I had my 4-Star LQ lifted at the dealer. About $450 and it added 3.5 inches. I had bottomed out other trailers tanks, and had enough of that. :-). My horses are fine with it, and it made it fit my 2013 Ram 3500 better. Very happy with the results. |

Location: Pontotoc MS | I raised my trailer 2 inches to level it out with my truck. Also gave more clearance on my tanks which is a plus. It is a little higher step getting in but not really a issue. |

| Does anyone who's lifted their trailer notice more swaying or additional fish tailing after it was lifted, or did the ride remain the same?
I'm considering the lift myself, just so it can ride level. I can't seem to find the post about calculating the correct height amount? |

It might depend on the method of lift that was chosen...for example some people might use a Springs over-under conversion rather than go with a weld solution...some people might use a ultra-cheap weld outfit and their remounted axles are not properly aligned |

| I have the Dexter torsion axles, and was planning on using the 3" Kit from Dexter. Did anyone notice additional sway or fish tailing after their lift?
running 19.5 wheels and tires, seems to ride somewhere around 3 to 5 inches higher from being leveled.
