Location: Clovis California | My wife and I are heading up to University of Montana western to drop off one of our therapy horses. We want to bring a couple horses & make a vacation of it. We run a therapy ranch and don't get many chances to leave for vacations. I'm just wondering places to dry camp or campgrounds with horse set up. | We camped at buffalo horn trailhead, just off Hwy 191 in the Gallatin Range. Very nice riding, there was stock water in the creek a vault toilet, and great trails right from camp. It is behind the 320guest ranch on buffalo horn pass rd. |
