Location: Mena, AR | My generator is in my third (last, to rear) manger. I am thinking of moving it up top. I need to get a hay rack or platform for it, and a sending pump. Anything else? Where is the gas line ran from the gas tank to the generator when they are on the roof? I am asumming you have to put a hole in the roof for it.There is a local guy that does good aluminum welding work, so I will have him do the platform for me.I need just a little bit more storage, and this seems like it would cheaper than a new trailer. :-) |

Location: Penrose, Colorado | my gen. is on the roof and also the gas tank, you will not need an extra fuel pump if both are on top. I have no problems fueling from the truck stop with it like this, if you move your tank or buy another make sure it is equipped with a roll over valve this prevents gas spillage. If you need it I have an extra custom built tank that is ready to go, I had it built for another trailer and never used it. |

Location: Mena, AR | My gas tank is in the rear tack and I was not planning on moving it. I could not find anything that says where to place the transfer pump. I am guessing on or near the gas tank. I am going to have to find a trailer with the generator on the roof to see how it is done. I have some Sta Kool to put on my roof first so I am not in a rush. |

Location: Penrose, Colorado | we have a hay pod and behind it is another deck for the generator and it has a cover, I see alot of gen. that are not covered and mounted directly to the hay rack and I think there are alot of options check out hayrack.com |

Location: missouri | We have ours under the rear tack, the tank is under the mangers...we were told that it is hard on pump to have it low, and the generator on the hayrack... |

Location: Vermont | If you move your generator to the roof...stay away from the 11 foot 8 inch bridge... Check out at the one minute mark... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzkWTcDZFH0 |

Location: Mena, AR | My brother is a long haul driver. He said his company routed him to a bridge that was too low for his truck. He noticed it before it was too late. He had to call the Police so they could halt freeway traffic for him to back up and reroute. I think he said it took over an hour. On the pump front, I did notice that you have to get a pump with enough "lift" to it. |
