I know this has been talked about- i coukdnt find it right off hand- but,is there a pretty easy way to determine the date of a tire? Will it be located in the same spot on most of them?

Resurrecting my own old thread on this- all I could find on the tires that were on the 1995 4star that we bought a couple of summers ago: DOT PdHH37KRR-40144K-32888S4STRK-2It could be that the manufacture date is on the opposite side but using the link that Paul provided, this one looked fairly complete- but no real clue for me as to the age

These are NOT the original tires that came with the trailer...since these appear to have been manufactured 40th week of 2014 a picture of the sidewall would be more helpful...:)

Paul,I don't think you would be able to see it- it's hard to read plus sitting in a big shed right now.but you answered the question.so thanks. They must be pretty cheap tires or low ply.they don't look that " young". The dealer said it had new tires when we picked it up but- we thought, hmmm.o k

Tires can age HARD in high dry temperatures...especially when exposed to sun light

It's been sitting in a tractor shed since we got it,for the most part.I don't think the date could be correct since we bought it the second week of June 2014 with these same ' new' tires,it's highly probable we were lied to at the time.
