Location: Gonzales, Tx | I've got 1/2" black pipe run to the location of my fridge, furnace, and cook top. what kind of gas line should I make up the connection to the appliances with? I haven't read where traditional flex gas line is a no no, but it seems like it would be due to the vibrations of traveling. I'll need two 2 footers and one 4 footer. Thanks for any help, Tim. |

Location: Topeka Ks | Not sure if it meets today's code, but my trailer transitions from black pipe to soft copper to the appliance. |

Location: Gonzales, Tx | Thanks for the info! I remembered today after reading your posts that while in the HVAC trade, I used to use copper washers in the shape of a flare fitting, they come in different sizes and do compress and allow a pretty good seal, I just didn't like the instant bind and torque the hose sensation i was getting tightening the fitting on the gas flex.
