Location: missouri | We went to Erbie in our Landrover yesterday to check the roads on the cuttoff to Erbie, and the campground... the roads down there were better than we have EVER seen them! But, when you get to the Park Service road, it is bad with holes from the floods. The campground looks GREAT! thanks to the Buffalo River Backcounty Horseman and their upkeep efforts.... everything ready. The road to Hwy 7/ Koen Experimental Forrest is pretty bad, closed at low water crossings due to flood damages.... I talked to the Park Ranger office this AM, she said that they have plan in place to start repairs soon..* they are currently working to get Lost Valley back open. Look for updates on their site. |
