Anyone have experience with these type of add-on suspension things. They have doughnut shaped air bags and are attached there at the gooseneck hitch and are designed to smooth out the movement between the truck and trailer, making the ride more comfortable for your horse. I have been researching them and have found 5 different types/brands so far. I really need to improve the ride for my gelding on long trailer rides. Already use soft-ride boots, double mats and have air bags on my truck. Next I will try hauling him backwards. From all the research I have been doing - this type of hitch thing should really help. Thanks!

What sort of issues are you having? the air ride hitches are handy but you realize that for a long time they did not even put springs on horse trailers right? before a soft ride i find that having an open trailer with lots of light and air is better for the horse to be happy.
