Location: TN | We are in the process of purchasing a used LQ trailer. I definitely want to replace the mattress and was looking for opinions/ likes/ dislikes. The trailer is 7'6" tall but we would like to be able to sit up in the bed if possible so I am assuming the height of the mattress matters.I remember reading somewhere that people were using the Spa Sensation's foam mattresses and were very happy with them. Does anyone have one? Thanks for any and all information! |

Location: Montello, WI | We use a good quality futon. We've used the futon for several years, but toward the end of last season we but a combingation memory foam feather topper on it and just love that arrangement. We'll probably eventually go to something like that home.
A major advantage of the futon, is they fold and bend which makes it much easier to get into the gooseneck. Disadvantage is a good quality futon is heavy. |

Location: Raleigh, NC | I have tried just about everything over the years in our trailers.
I finally got a memory foam mattress from Walmart, and it is perfect.
I think it was around $200. |

Location: Mena, AR | I have a Queen size memory foam mattress I got at Ikea in their clearance area. Had a small smudge on the end, $150 off. I put a comfy mattress pad on top, and love it to death. When we replace our mattress in the house someday, that is what we will get. I think it is six inches tall. |

Location: Lone Oak, Tx | We have a futon mattress and it's been fantastic. Much more comfortable than the foam IMO. |

Location: Ohio | I ordered my mattress last May (best month to buy mattresses) from Walmart. It is a memory foam and comes in 6". It was delivered to the store rolled in a bag and was about $135.00. THE best purchase ever and my friends did the same. RV stores wanted $800+ crazy. Even thinking of changing my home mattress for this one in 8" version. I hear the other gel mattresses may get hard during cold temps, but mine is fine in even 32*. LOVE it! |
