Location: Bellows Falls | Well, discovering I'm not the only one but I just purchased a 2014 Ram 2500 and the bed height is too high for my 2012 Exiss 6200 GN trailer. What are the solutions people have used successfully? lower the truck, raise the trailer? buy a new trailer-they won't let me return the new truck!! |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | Block the axles on your trailer; and figure on possibly putting a ramp on it, if you do a 3 or 4 inch block. A flatbed; as Retento mentioned is also a good compromise. A block job and a ramp is going to be about the same money as a new flatbed. |

Location: Bellows Falls | it does have a ramp already and my complaint about this trailer has always been that the ramp is too steep So blocking the trailer up will make the ramp steeper. No way to fix that is there? hauling a piece of wood to put under the ramp is not something I really want to do. |

Location: Big Prairie, Ohio | Was looking at 2015 Ram 2500/3500 sales brochure this week. Saw they have listed the option of a Bed Delete. Doesn't help if bought from inventory, though.Is your goose adjustable? We still have a couple of holes to pull the pin and drop the trailer down. See a lot of trailers running down the road nose high. Not good for the most part. A lot of weight thrown on the rear trailer axle. At a show where an trailer owner was complaining about blowing a tire now and then. Also bragged about how nice his turbo diesel would run 75 mph down the freeway with it. Only took me a second looking at his set-up being nose a little too high and a trailer with ST trailer tires which are only rated for 62-68 mph kindly noted to him/her where the problem was.Not sure why manufacturers are building trucks so tall these days. Higher the truck- higher the price?Hope you can get your problem solved reasonably. |

Location: Big Prairie, Ohio | Another option Ram has is the air ride suspension in the 2500's where it will alter/lower loaded ride height. That would be nice to have imo. We run an older Ram 2500 HD 2WD and will be getting a newer model before long. Definitely will order the air suspension to hopefully eliminate the hitch issue. |

Location: Bellows Falls | well we did adjust the gooseneck hitch up a hole and filled the tires to max PSI(they were quite low) and we are not quite level but almost and have clearance of 8 inches between truck and trailer now. So I'll keep checking the rear tires and maybe get a picture of the hookup on level ground to have people critique. good news is, ramp is not as steep and horse is much happier loading(she slipped on steep ramp a couple times and has been quite suspicious) |

If I remember right each hole is about 2" adjustment so that would give you about 6" of clearance! |
