Circle j corp said probably does not have one(tex ) sheriff says I have to go to state highway patrol. I just bought this trailer. I can't believe in 2002 no vin number. O yea there is 5 numbers on the hitch which match the title, but sherif says have to have full vin number. Can anyone help Thanks |

Location: mancelona michigan | In order to get a title (which you say you have),the original purchaser had to have a certificate of origin that would have come with the trailer from the manufacturer. In 2002 a full vin# was needed to issue that coo. So,either the person at circle j doesnt know what he is talking about,or there is another # somewhere. Is this a bp or goose neck? |

Location: Parker co | Bumper pull. I can't believe a 2002 would not have a vin number on the frame or somewhere. There is a faded sticker that you can see where it says vin but to faded to read. I have the title so I know what the number is but where can it be. I am going to look under the trailer again |

Location: mancelona michigan | OK,now we are getting somewhere! That sticker likely had the vin on it. This was commonly done.It was either a foil or plastc faced sticker that had the vin, dom, tire size, and gross wieght rateing. Why dont you try some very mild car polish on a soft rag,try to polish up the top surface then use a magnifying glass and good light to try to read it. |

Location: Parker co | Thank you for helping me. I have tried to read it but to faded. Looks like I will take it to the highway patrol to get it read. |
