Location: Georgia | I have a dually with a 4-Star, three horse slant w/ DR. I'm hauling one horse and some extras, probably about 1/3 of maximum weight. Between the truck and heavily built trailer the ride is harsh and bouncy. What is the safest PSI for the trailer tires that I can use? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. |

Location: mancelona michigan | The highest psi on the sidewall of the tire. Running tires soft will give you blowouts,not a better ride. |

If you are getting a harsh ride you might need to check the height of the hitch on the trailer. Bouncy ride could be low tire pressure or uneven load in the trailer... Uneven load could be adjust by adjusting the hitch height! |

Location: Topeka Ks | I used a Cody Cushion on my old truck to stop the bounce. It fit in the B&W Turnover and it made a big difference. Unfortunately it won't fit in the hitch of my new truck so it needs to find a loving home. |

Location: weatherford,tx | Depending on how old the trailer is, and how level it rides will determine some factors. Axles that are 8-10 years old have a tendancy to loose ductility in them making them stiff, cures are, replace axle beams with new ones, or go with air ride suspension. Yes i am a manufacturer of air rides, and roughly see 200-250 axle problems a year . Have over 20 years experiance in the buisness. Hope this helps. if not Give me a call. Ask for Kyle 817-599-9685 |

Location: Hoosierville | I had an issue with my truck and new to me trailer pulling rough and bouncy, after a lot of checking and I finally took the truck and the trailer to the Ford dealer so they could check it out. There was actually a software update for the truck under"buck and snort". Now I know this sounds like i am kidding but I am not! True story and it fixed the problem.The truck is an F-450 dually pulling a 35' long Jamco. |

Location: Crane, Montana | Ok, how much for the air ride? I have a 100" wide sundowner that rides rough when its loaded with only 1or 2 horses. Had blowouts when it wa shot so went to 14 ply tires; eliminated the blowouts but rides rougher. deskridge@midrivers.com or 406-798-3818. |

Location: weatherford,tx | Air Rides start out at 7900, and up depending on size axle, brake upgrades, wheels and so on. our waranty starts out at 5 years limited on all of our air rides. All other companys only offer 1-2 year waranties. You can call me at 817-599-9685, ask for kyle |

If it is high in the front and you load you horses in the rear it will ride bad cause most of your weight is going to be on the rear axle! Same if you have the nose too low and you load heavy in the front most of the weight will be on the front axle! level the trailer as close as possible and try to load as close to the axles as possible. |
