Location: Missouri | Fairgrounds are usually a good source. You'll need to call ahead to make arrangements.
Kansas Fairgrounds: https://www.countyfairgrounds.net/kansas/kansas.php#.U6rpf0DAGM8
Cabella's usually have horse accomodations. There's one just W of KC, just off I-70. I'd suggest calling them to make sure.

Location: missouri | The Cabelas at KC does have horse pens and nice place to park your trailer. They are first come first served, but are not heavily used. They also have dog kennels as well. Also if you want to stop at any Cabelas and have your dogs with you, you can take them in the store. If they store has a food court area they require you to leave your dog at the front desk, they have nice kennels for them, you have to sign your dog in and out as well. So nice to be able to stop and not have to leave the dogs in the truck or trailer. Love Cabelas for the main reason of how they accomodate our four legged family. |

Location: missouri | Not sure how far you plan on traveling that day, but there is a very nice horse camp at Kanopolis Kansas. It is $21 a night has nice level spots, water and electric and pens for your horses. It is another 3 to 3 1/2 hours from Kansas City. We overnight there when we go to Colorado. |
