My weekender has a built in 2 way fridge, but it isn't working.  Can I just plug a dorm sized electric fridge in to another outlet, until I get the 2 way working?  I have a converter, will be on shore power, and have rooftop air, lights, and 3 or 4 outlets.

what seems to be the problem, I had mine quit a while back and I learned alot. I take that it will not work on elec. or propane? when you turn it on does the lights on the controls work or even the interior light? if not your 12volt is not working, this is what controls the boards.

I'm not sure - and it's off at the shop now, so I can't check.  I'm not sure it even has a light?  It never did get cold on propane or electric.  The featherlite dealer said it needed a new cooling unit ($500, so not worth it for the tiny little cube of a fridge).  I called a place that rebuilds them, and he told me to plug it in to shore power to do some diagnostics, but it instantly popped the outlet on my house.  I can run the a/c off that outlet, so that seems more likely to be the root of the fridge problem.

The fact that it pops your breaker on a/c indicates that it is an electrical problem, not a cooling system problem. Unless you can see some yellow granules indicating a leak in the cooling system, I would suspect a bad heating element, about $50. Diagnostic procedures are readily available online and additional help is available on this site.
Propane not working could be as simple as a clogged burner orofice. Good luck.

I was having problems last month on mine and they will not run on propane or 110 if 12 volt is not correct, that is what runs the circuit boards, I ran all new wires to mine and corrected the problem.

The word from the repair shop, so far, is that my converter is shot.  My fridge is 2 way, so not sure if that could be related.  Thanks for all the ideas.
