Has anyone removed their 2 burner LP stove?  I have never used it in 15 years and would love to have that thing off of the countertop.

if you remove it all you need to do is turn the propane tank off and then disconnect the hose from the stove and get the correct brass plug for it, be sure to bleed off as much propane as you can from the front of the trailer as you can, un plug your 11o power and I would disconnect your 12 volt also to prevent a problem. Just a side line to this if you have a dog or cat close by put them up, my cousin was working on a propane system and he petted his dog and the rest is history until the fire department got there.

Thanks.  I didn't think it should be too difficult.  It's just a nuisance to me and I would rather have a flat countertop.  Appreciate all the safety tips!

We never use our stove either. I had a friend build a wood and laminate cover for it. Not a flat surface but a usable surface.
