Location: MD | I have a 30 gal under gooseneck water tank that serves well for human needs. However, I've been carrying four 5gal buckets in the rear tack area for horses and takes up too much room. I measured for one of those triangular stand tanks, but only have just under 14" to the tack pole. The 39gal water caddy is 14 on sides, 14.5 across. I don't want to pay $50 shipping and then $50 back if it doesn't fit like I'm thinking it won't. The under trailer joists are 12"W x 4"D but don't see anything that size.
I really want to keep it on or behind the axles. Does anybody have any "out of the box" suggestions besides the roof? Garage door height prohibits roof adds over 11". |

| On the water tank question, is it better to put a 45 gallon tank on my hay rack or in my pick up bed. I noticed you said over the axels........? |

I already have a 30 gal (240 pounds) under the GN nose and don't want to put 40 more gals (400 pounds) in front of the axles which would add pin weight. Don't know what your truck payload situation is, but I'm looking to keep it on the axles or behind them.
