Location: Monroe, WA | Is it possible to "seal" trailer mat seams? I have a horse who pees in the trailer almost every time he is loaded. I put lots of shavings to soak it up but of course it can't get it all before some runs through the mat seams to the floor. |

Location: Texas | I put Gorilla tape on mine, and will check under the mats in about 2 more trips to see if it has worked. I do use shavings too, but some urine was still seeing under. The Gorilla tape is staying in place/stuck |

Plan on pulling the back mats on a routine basis and washing that area...that or try training the horse NOT to pee in the trailer...:) |

Location: Monroe, WA | LOL!! I trained him to pee in his stall before I leave. But coming home, he will not pee on command in the arena or in the dirty shavings. He wants a stall...

Location: Texas | I know some train them to not ee in trailer, but I want mine to pee when he needs to, and not "hold it". And on a long haul, I don't want them to hold it for hours. |

| Hi, there is calking material that is temporary- 'Seal and Peel' is one name- they are two or three brands available at ACE and other hardware stores. it is intended to seal for cracks at window and doors. I have used it on mat seams and side by walls- it holds up against the urine so it does not run straight through. the nice part is use it for a period of time (weeks/months) and then peel it off to pull mats and wash down the floor underneath as maintenance. |
