We will be heading west to Colorado in mid July and looking to stop for the night near Hays, Kansas...would love to find a place to turn out two horses for the night and a place to setup/park the LQ trailer. |

I would recomend camping at Kanopolis State Park. They have a nice camp, nice shower/bath facilities, and maybe some pens.... I love the trails there also if you get a chance to stretch out in the evening or early morning....it is just west of Salina, south of I-70. A couple of hours short of Hays.... |

Nice park, easy layout of the land and safe for the horses. the pens are nice and large so they can move around to. Water and electric at every site all sites are level to. |
