I recently purchased an older used gooseneck horse trailer and am doing some minor needed repairs to it - paint & floors. I noticed that there are no safety chains on the trailer - doesn't look like there ever were. I've always had bumper pull trailers in the past - are safety chains not required on a gooseneck or is this something I need to have put on the trailer? Thanks!

For you own safety and to those around you, safety chains are a MUST, regardless of local regulations.
