| Would anyone know the specifics as to how to install a drop down ramp on a Titan Avalanche 2, three-horse trailer? Any onfo describing the process from start to finish, as well as materials, thickness, weld-points, and spring-assist hardware would be extremely appreciated and helpful. Thank you

Location: riverside ca | I would use 1x2 16 gauge steel tubing and aluminum sheet with a 1/2 inch ply and a piece of conveyer belt on the other side, i would use 6 verticals, and get some half automotive leaf springs to lift it up. not super fancy but simple and will last forever. My friend builds them like thishttp://gandfcarriages.netfirms.com/gandftrailers.com/images/commercialgn3.jpgand they work great, one hint make sure you have a decent gap between the hinge and the ramp so that when you fold the ramp up after loading the trailer there is enough space for the poop and shavings to fall through.... | |

| I just went through this with a ramp that has the springs coiled around the hinge rod.
They needed to be pre-loaded.
Believe me, this COULD be dangerous.
I could relate how I did it without getting hurt, but that would not be a suggestion or recommendation for anyone else to do it the same/similar way.
