Hydraulic will lift your trailer faster with much less noise. Cost is higher but worth it in my opinion.

once you use a hydraulic jack and you see a electric in operation you'll want to throw rocks at the electric. The hyd. jack does costs more money but it is worth it in a side by side comparison.

ditto on the kudos for the hydraulic jack - it's my favorite feature on my LQ trailer!

If money is not a consideration, definitely Hydraulic. Quieter and faster; however, electric works fine and the improvement in speed is probably less than a minute going on or off. I have had two electric jacks prior to the hydraulic and both worked fine. Lundi Lift was the better of the two electric jacks in my opinion. It was quieter. I can't remember the brand of the other for sure but it was much noisier. I believe it was an Equalizer.
