I recently just purchased a smaller LQ trailer. It has a sink and water tank that has been winterized. The previous owners had it done at a dealership so they didn't know the particulars--but it looks as though they did run some pink (what I am assuming is RV antifreeze) through the system after draining it.
My question is, to get this back to functional use what all do I need to do? Should I just fill the water tank up and flush all of the lines? What are the suggestions as far as getting all of the antifreeze out of the system--- from what I am reading RV antifreeze is relatively safe?

I don't know of anything special. Just connect the water and run facets till it runs clear. Your hot water heater will be in bypass and drained so depending on how yours is setup you will have close on valve and open two. Search RV hot water heater bypass and look at the pictures. Now you know about my secret powers. You my want to check the anode in the hot water heater it will take a 1-1/8" socket to remove and inspect. While it is open I would flush any calcium deposits out by using your spray nozzle on your hose and spray in the anode opening. It only takes a couple of gallons to winterize.Jg

As was so well instructed, flush until the water is clear and you no longer notice the antifreeze smell. In addition, we finish the flushing with a cup of bleach added to the tank, and then flush that.
