Location: NM | Hi, I recently purchased this trailer, it's a little rough around the edges I know but I got a good deal for my first trailer. The State Police have been very helpful with obtaining a title for it but need to identify the make. I think it may be a Calico but I just don't know. It has a sliding door in the back, a dividing gate in the middle, and the manger is split in two. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Location: Missouri | Even if the VIN tag has been removed, usually the VIN or at least a partial is stamped into the frame around the hitch area. The authorities should be able to run the VIN and get the make. |

(like mid 70's model) I took one to the crusher a few months ago that was narrow like that with the saddle compartment on the front with a solid head divider..... |

Location: NM | Thanks everyone for your help. There is a 4 digit number stamped on the frame but when the policeman ran it nothing came back. He thinks it may never have been registered since livestock trailers do not have to be registered in this state as long as they are only used for agricultural purposes. It is likely a 70s or 80s model knowing what I do of its history and very heavy steel. It's a bit vintage but it should work well for occasional trips to the vet or sale barn. |

Location: Acton, CA | It looks in really good shape. You should be able to haul it anywhere as long as you have had the floor, axles, brakes, tires, wiring etc checked before any hauls. |

Location: NM | It is very solid, the floor is good and the welds are strong. After a new set of tires and bearings, new wiring and lights, some bodywork where it was jacknifed and a fresh coat of paint it should serve me well! At least this way I will know everything is in good shape rather than spending as much on buying an unknown trailer. |
