Location: kingston | I bought a brand new custom made 2013 Lakota Charger horse trailer with 9 ft LQ and a slide out. It is very pretty, however...... when I got it home the TV did not work. They sent a new one that I had to install. It worked but when you opened the cabinet to watch it at the dinette the connection came loose so you had to jiggle the wire. Lakota said, well that is just the way it is....humm. When the TV is swung out to watch it at the dinette you cannot hear it when playing a DVD. Lakota said that is just the way it is, humm. My third trip out with the trailer to a horse show the fridge did not cool down until the last day. Took the trailer in for fixing at that point. The fridge worked while it was out for repair. Took the trailer out the next time to a horse show the fridge never cooled down. Took it back, there was also a recall to enclose the combustion system for the fridge. Could have died if I tried to run the fridge on propane. Lakota sent a third TV and a new DVD player. Got the TV replaced and it works, still can't hear a DVD being played and the fridge still doesn't work. All-in-all not very happy with Lakota. I have hauled the trailer twice to have it repaired, they don't reimburse for milage. Now I have to take it a third time. Remember this is 3 trips for the same thing. Lakota acts like it is no big deal. Whoops sorry. I bought a brand new trailer so I would not have any problems. |
