looking to buy some new trailer tires.  came across some 14 ply gladiator tires at a good price.  has anyone had any experience with or know anything about gladiator tires?

Just purchased a trailer from MT, they only had Gladiator tires up there, I was quoted $300/tire, took my chances hauled trailer home to CO and put on Goodyear @$345/tire.

Just put 4 gladiators on our stock trailer. Have 500 miles on and life is good so far. We paid $185 each mounted/balanced. The tire guy told me that these are not the same as the G614s. My understanding is that the tread is 14 ply rated, but the Goodyears are wrapped in steel cord/cable including the side wall. The Gladiators have the steel cord on just the tread.

From personal experience the G614s are wrapped as we had one blow all the rubber off and we just ran on the steel cable for 12 miles to get to an exit. Was steel from bead to bead. Still was holding air just fine.

Just put 4 new G614s on our LQ trailer and they ran $385 each mounted/balanced.
