Location: Watertown, TN | Really? Now that shows the difference between people. Two things that mak a trailer a non-starter for me is a fixed tack and the door to th LQ on the driver side. I'm sure it could be done but would require some skill with cutting welding. If it is an aluminum trailer them the skill level goes up for DIY person. Then also consider the trailer itself. Is the tack fixed in place because it is a structural part othe rear end and is the wall stout enough to hold the weight of tack wall without racking the back doors? Just things to think about. It might need to be looked at by a professional unless you are confident in your abilities. Maybe time to trade? |

Location: Tenn/Ala. | We've done several over the years. I don't recall ever seeing one that was a structural component of the trailer. The trick to hold costs down is to try and reuse as much of the existing equipment as you can. You'll cut it loose, and modify it to move/fold. Each is different, but usually no challenge for any aluminum fabricator. You'll typically need to add some semi-specialty hardware like is used in the folding designs to achieve your desired results.
