Location: Texas | Discount tires carry a ST235/85R-16G tire. I've always liked Discount, as they have been able to help me if I was on the road, and have had tires replaced that had been damaged. The tires that are on there are load range G, and assuming by the date on tires, and year of trailer, they are the originals (2004) So has anyone tried these "Vision Load Boss" tires? .... http://www.discounttire.com/infovisionloadboss/visionloadboss.html |

Location: Texas | Check out Hankook F19 7.50-16. G rated and speed rated for 68mph. Load rating 3330# @ 105# vs. 3750# @ 110# for the 614RST, but considerably cheaper. These tires are excellent. Discount Tire handles them and they are about $240. |

Location: TEXAS | AVOID THESE TIRES!! AVOID THESE TIRES!! I bought 2 in May 2013. Both had total tread separations. One this past saturday. They WERE properly inflated. Caused damage to the trailer as usual. Bought at Discount tire. Going tomorrow to reconcile with them.I have had blowouts with the Goodyears before but I can't vouch that they were properly inflated at the time, my wife drives the trailer and didn't always check pressures back then. WE DO NOW!! The GYs are $370 each at discount tire now. |

Location: TEXAS | Went to Discount Tire today with my "LOAD BOSS" tread separated POS and of course I got credit because I had purchased the certs (road hazard). On the tire that had not YET blown they gave me a "generous" $40 credit towards another tire. Whoopee! I am getting the Goodyears but this is the last time I buy trailer or truck tires from discount. Their inflators only go to 90 PSI for OSHA reasons! I also sent them a long email, see if I get any meaningful reply. |

Location: TEXAS | The email to discount tire via the website worked! I got a call from the store and they are going to give me full credit on the LOAD BOSS replacement tire that has not as yet blown out! They didn't actually acknowledge the email but there's nothing else that would have prodded them to examine the tire, call the manufacturer and obtain approval for the credit. So I'm still a discount tire customer but NO LOAD BOSS ever again! |

Location: Penrose, Colorado | I understand saving money but it still amazes me that people will put a cheap tire on there ( expensive trailer ) load a couple of good horses and expect life to be good, if you pull enough you will ruin good tires but not near as often. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. |
