Location: Missouri | I've installed this camera http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Surveillance-Outdoor-Security-Infra... in my trailer and a friends. Very good picture and night vision. In my truck I used the stereo screen to display the image. For my friends trailer I installed this in her truck. http://www.amazon.com/Camera-Monitor-Support-Rotating-Screen/dp/B00... (dang website keeps deleting my paragraphs!)

Location: MS | I have been considering installing one of these. I am a complete idiot about it, and all the terms are blowing my mind. Hornet, the one you posted looks fabulous, especially for the price. But, I don't understand how it would be used. What do you use for a monitor? What powers it? I see an adapter, but it is one that plugs into a standard outlet. |

Location: Missouri | I cut the wire off the AC adapter and wired that to a 12v source on my trailer. The camera is 12vdc, that's why it comes with an AC adapter but you don't need the adapter. Then I ran standard video cable under the belly of the trailer to the truck. For a quick connect that's water resistant I used the common four pin trailer connector. In my post I provided a second link to the monitor I installed in my friends truck, but in my truck my stereo has GPS with an option that allows me to display a partial map and a rear view camera at the same time. |

Location: Texas | Let me add. We bought a Trailer Eyes set up, had a couple issues on our end, yet the owner of the company jumped thru hoops to get things worked out. Shipping is super fast. We wired in the system to our 12 volt, as the 9 volt battery camera did not last long. We have the clip on antenna mounted on the side of the trailer, magnetic antenna for monitor on roof of truck. What I have found from watching is that one horse was reaching over divider and biting the other, and another horse does a tap dance the whole time the trailer is moving. I was surprised that we actually saw something more than bored horses standing there..... http://www.trailereyes.com/horsetrailercamera.html |

| We did the same as Hornet but we used Night Owl, We like being able to see and hear the horses, it works great. Even after dark. |
