Just made my first trip to High Knob Campground in IL. JoJo was wonderful. The campground was well kept and neat and the stalls were nice. I felt it was reasonable in price and family focused. thanks JoJo for doing everything you did to help us have a wonderful time. However, if you are planning a trip - the first week of Sept might not be the best if it is as hot as it was there last week :-)....

I just returned from High Knob today. It was a quick trip, only 3 nights. I hadn't been in 2 years, and there has been a tremendous amount of work done since then. JoJo went overboard to show us the trails and how to get exactly where we wanted to go. Super riding; even got to do a short night ride by the (almost) full moon. Great weather.

Did you run into any bees there? We are looking to ride there in the next couple of weeks but we heard that someone recently ran into bees several times on the trails near High Knob.
