My question is we are re-doing our living quarters in a trailer that had a leak .We re did the roof with elastromeric. We started taking down the ceiling and insulation today. We noticed what looked like condensation under the yellow type insulation. The trailer is a 1992 and Iam pretty sure the ceiling and insulation is original.Just wondering if that is normal and if so when I put up the new hard foam 4x8 sheets style insulation is there anything I can do to stop that?

If any warm air touches the metal skin, it will condense and can cause mold. Apparently the original insulation did not have an adequate vapour barrier. When you install the new insulation, make sure all the seams are completely taped on the rigid foam insulation. This will stop any future problems.
