First I want to complain. Why is it so hard to find a 96 inch axle on new 2 horse trailers. Why are so many making 2H straightloads for only huge horses? Does anybody think there will ever be a trend back to smaller trailers? Why do manufacturers act like they want to disown a vin# that is ten years old?
I just bought one with a side spring ramp that needs work on the spring mount. I would really like to have the ramp cut in half and turned into old style 50/50 swinging doors. It is aluminum frame and I don't know what is inside it yet.
I am looking for opinions, as I apparently can't buy doors and will have to go to a welding shop either way. Thanks in advance and I sure hope there are lots of opinions.
