Location: georgia		we just bought a new trailer. It has the large 7 way plug.when hooked to the truck the reverse backup lights come on on the truck without putting the truck in reverse.

Location: Missouri		The truck or the trailer isn't wired to standard. Google search 7 blade wiring diagram and you'll find the discrepancy in the truck or trailer plug. Or go to ETrailer.com they have trailer diagrams.
