Location: Dickinson, TX | Well...been awhile since I was here last...Thanks to our illustrious Congress, my active duty military career ended 5 years before I could retire. Starting over in life now in a new career. Home ownership ain't gonna happen soon.I was thinking about buying a couple acres of land, having my trailer built out with living quarters, and surviving for a couple years. I am very concerned with toxicity of materials used in LQ construction. Anyone know anything of this?It would be nice to have a "house" of sorts that is paid for till I get back on my feet. Just worried about cancers and other issues from the outgassing of chemicals.Thanks,Mike |

Location: Dickinson, TX | :-)I see I should have been more clear...I am indeed talking about materials used in construction of horse trailer living quarters, and wonder about the safety of living in a LQ trailer daily for a couple of years. |

Location: Le Claire IA | I am currently looking at trailers and have issues with chemicals and smells. I'm finding a lot of the rubber materials lining the horse area I can't handle and I'm just walking thru them. I think, I read some are recycled materials and I don't think that is a good idea. My current trailer doesn't smell anything like the new ones. Also some LQ's materials set me off. I am suprised at some wood materials so I have to actually check out every trailer. |

Location: michigan | Isn't the materials used in a LQ trailer the same as in a RV? People live in those for extended periods of time. PS Fracking has been going on for many MANY years- its safe for both people and the environment and give us a good supple of much needed natural gas. |

Location: western PA | Fracking has been going on for many MANY years- its safe for both people and the environment and give us a good supple of much needed natural gas In our state where fracking is quite common, we have a good supply of contaminated wells. Our rivers have been nicely tainted as well, with the used drilling fluids being dumped into the water ways. |
