Location: AR | Just bought a 1994 4 star LQ trailer. The seller had carpet over rigid insulation over the original carpet. Pulled it all up to find a LARGE soft/rotten area in the plywood flooring. Plus, it's damp. There is some sort of insulation (1/4 inch foam?) between the plywood and what appears to be a solid sheet of aluminum. This is directly over my gray water tank. Any ideas? I can't find any obvious leaks. |

Location: A high mountain peak | Someone ran a screw through the wrong place in your holding tank or it's not sealed at inlet, and when your tank gets full it leaks into the floor |

Location: AR | Yep, upon further investigation it appears both tanks leak. Looks like I'll be dropping the tanks, hubby said he'll do the welding. I was not looking for a project trailer.....especially an expensive one. Bummed. Does anyone know how the dang things are plumbed on the topside? |
