Location: IL | Does this sound reasonable? Our Suburban is a 1/2 ton, and the specs on the general chevy site say it has an 8100 lb towing capacity. It's not for long hauling, just local shows, clinics, and trail rides mostly. We are total novice's in the trailering department, and don't want to pick something unsafe....the horses we have for it are a small pony and an average size qh.Thanks! |

Location: Mena, AR | Look in your owners manual to be sure. Check the hitch weight. You should be good. You might consider adding a sway bar. I towed a 2H BP behind a 4 door Tahoe for several years with a sway bar, and never had any problems. |

Location: Coconut Creek, FL | Surburan's are long vehicles and are great for towing a 2H BP. You will be fine, no sway bars needed |

Location: Vermont | If your tongue weight exceeds 500 lbs you want a WDH...

Location: western PA | Timbrens also work quite well to maintain a level ride regardless of the loading. |

Location: Missouri | You should be well within the acceptable tow capacity. I doubt at that weight you will need a sway bar. |

Location: IL | Is a wdh the same as the sway bars? Is that something that would be much more expensive to add? Thank you all SO much, this is so confusing to me! |
