Location: Naugatuck, CT | can anyone give me an idea of the markup % for the new trailers? I need what the dealer purchases it from the factory vs what they retail it for. Example: trailer being listed for $29000.00. What would be a reasonable "low ball" offer? |

Location: Ohio | Wow that is a loaded question. I know when we bought ours we ordered it and had the dealer broker the deal. Saved us a bunch of money. There are a great deal of expenses that go into being a dealer. The over head to up front the money to buy the trailer for the lot, insurance etc cost them money.
As for what a good low ball price would be, you have to consider how long they have had the trailer, what the interest is in it etc. Like buying a house, when you have a lot of interest, the price stays more firm than if they have sat on it a while and want to unload it. |

Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming | I asked this question about 2 months ago and didn't get any definitive info. I guess all I can add is that I ended up custom ordering a trailer and I've seen shorter non aluminum trailers go for several thousand more than I'm paying. |
