Has anyone had a horrible Trailer buying experience from Main Trailer Sales?

We purchased a repossessed(New) or told that it was, 07 Kiefer Built Express from them in January of last year.  We got the trailer home and it was filthy, not a problem I cleaned it up.  Then the ceiling started to leak over the refrigerator in the refrigerator vent, it was installed improperly and they had it repaired.  The  lines were caked with the winterizer put in the lines during winter and never cleaned out since 07 and we had to pay for that to be removed. Then this Spring we went to get the trailer ready for camping and we found it full of water and water damage to cabinets, carpets, and the walls.  We took it to a Horse trailer repair shop and he stated that the windows had been replaced and not sealed and the rains poured in causing $14,000.00 damage to the trailer.  We also replaced all 4 tires on the trailer for fear of a blowout due to the overwhelming scare with them, so add another $800.00.  I wouldn't trust these guys again if my life depended on it!!

Did you not look at the trailer before you bought it?

yes, we looked at the trailer before we bought it, but most of the problems were not noticeable to the naked eye.

As usual, I am always suspect when someone new registers on the board and the first post is a bashing.  As usual, they feel it's ok to come on a public forum defame someone else rather than normal courses of action.  We used to call them bullies.

I did check out the detail and as usual, there are two VERY different sides to this story.

I agree Dave. It seems that people sometimes use this forum as a way to get even. You don't surprise me that there are two sides to this story.

Sometimes there are not just two sides but a whole polyhedron...
