| So for those of you that own a ford 6.2l what do you think of it? How is the power? How is the Mileage? How are things holding up? do you like the trans, is it junk? Give me an overview. I am thinking of buying one in a crew cab but need to hear some opinions and complaints first haha. Thanks for the input |

Location: Florida | Do you mean the 6.0 or 6.4? In any case neither one is the old 7.3 (the best imo) and both of those engine are very problematic. Give a look here http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/ they will have all you need.
Edit... Or 6.2 the v-10, if it is sorry for the misinterpretation on my part.

Or 6.2 the v-10, if it is sorry for the misinterpretation on my part. The 6.8 is the V-10, the 6.2 gas is the newer V-8 gas engine that replaced the V-10 gas and the 5.4 gas in the pickups. The V-10 is still available some cab and chassis trucks. I don't know anyone that has a 6.2 gas truck, everyone around me that buys a Super Duty buys the 6.7 Scorpion Diesel. |

| Yup, Looking for the new 6.2 Gasser. I pull a 4h steel non LQ, I pull quite a bit in the summer, about every weekend and some during the week but dont need the maintanance cost and high fuel cost of the diesels. I pull with an 8.1 chevy right now and a lot of the people I travel with have the newer cummins and the newer ford diesels and dont get any better mileage than my big block. I miss the days of my old 5.9 cummins and the mileage and power output but I am a gasser man now. so thanks for any input that you can give about the newer trucks. |

Location: Northern Utah | I know several contractors with the 6.8L V10s and they are well over 200,000 miles and say they have had very little if any service work done. If the 6.2L V8 does as well, You should be happy with the longevity of the engine. |
