| Been out for a while an ready to upgrade our 04 Sundowner 727 8010 Signature Series 3 horse trailer that we bought back in 08. It has been super but I am wanting a larger LQ now. I am looking at a 2008 LOGAN XTR 4 horse with a 13'SW and slide and a 2005 Sundowner 720 8016 Signature Series 3 horse with a finished midtact with bunkbeds and a huge slide that holds the sofa and dinnet. Both trailers look to be in pretty good conditon, both with onan generators, the Sundowner has 17.5 tires and wheels and it looks to be 7'7" or 8' tall. We like both trailers, both are cheap and about the same money but I do not know much about the Logan and really like the fact of having a 4 horse. The interior in the Logan actually looks like it is alot higher quality and is real wood also and the Logan is going to be less weight too. Thanks for any info |

| Guessing this means go with the Sundowner??? I know on my 04 even though I bought it as a repo Sundowner was very helpful if and when I needed information and or any parts for it, plus they even sent me the original build sheet on mine too. Just got the one from Sundowner on the 05 I am looking at and this thing sold for 109-k new at the end of 2004..... |

Thanks for the reply, really can't complan in about Sundowner quality (yet), the one I have now even though it is a steel frame has been SUPER. As far as money goes, it really doesn't matter cause both of these are repos and I can buy either one for 25,000 each! |

| TOO late to edit my last post... They are 25,000 each and I have an offer on mine pending at $32,500.00 so I will be $7500.00 to the good on either trailer and getting a larger LQ is what I am after. Just no sure about the Logan although the interior is higher quality. |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | The Logan will be a galvanized steel frame with an aluminum exterior. The Sundowner 720 will be aluminum framed, and they have a reputation for longevity in that model. Both good products, and at that price you can't go wrong with either trailer, although if you've had good customer service from Sundowner.............shouldn't that tell you something. |

Location: Northern Utah | I've had two Logans and they have performed well for me. My current 2006 XTR has a lot of miles and lot of those miles down Forest Service or BLM dirt roads. I have not had a Slide, so I can't speak for how well that part of the trailer holds up. |

You are correct about the CS.... I have owned a few different makes/models in which most was bought new and never got the customer service I have recieved from Sundowner and I bought my trailer used as a repo.... As far as price I thought they both sounded REALLY cheap compaired to what I have seen listed on here for sale, there is a good selection of Sundowners listed but only a couple of the Logan's so I was going off of the cost of news ones on it since it is a 2008 model.... Thanks again |
