Location: high desert, CA. | In my opinion, you are fine. Remember to slow down, and gear down on long grades to keep the rpm up, and the water pump moving coolant. Also a weight distributing hitch is very helpful. Coming down long grades, use your engine to slow you by dropping to #2, and going slower. All these things are probably common sense, but I have seen a few burned up brakes on long grades, and several overheated tranny's and engines on long climbs. |
