Location: Western WA | Looking for some troubleshooting ideas. Pulled my friend's BP trailer this weekend for a short haul. The top right brake light and right turn signal didn't work. Lost the entire right side unplugging and replugging, then at least got the bottom right back after cleaning both the truck and trailer connections. Never did get the top right to work. I have running lights, left turn signal, and brake lights on the other three lights.
When she pulls with her own truck, everything works. When I pull my own trailer, everything works.
The only difference between the two I can think of is she has older traditional lights, I have LED's. Do LED's need less of a connection (ie: Could the connections on my truck still be the issue)?
Any other ideas?

If you want to continually use each other's trailer, one of you will have to rewire your trailer's plug so it is comparable with the other. |
